What are your rating policies?
G – General Audiences — All ages admitted. Signifies that the film rated contains nothing most parents will consider offensive for even their youngest children to see or hear. Nudity, sex scenes, and scenes of drug use are absent; violence is minimal; snippets of dialogue may go beyond polite conversation but do not go beyond common everyday expressions.
PG – Parental Guidance Suggested — Some material may not be suitable for children. This signifies that the film rated may contain some material parents might not like to expose to their young children – material that will clearly need to be examined or inquired about before children are allowed to attend the film. Explicit sex scenes and scenes of drug use are absent; nudity, if present, is seen only briefly, horror and violence do not exceed moderate levels.
PG-13 – Parents Strongly Cautioned — Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13. Signifies that the film rated may be inappropriate for pre-teens. Parents should be especially careful about letting their younger children attend. Rough or persistent violence is absent; sexually-oriented nudity is generally absent; some scenes of drug use may be seen; some use of one of the harsher sexually derived words may be heard.
R – Restricted — Ages 11 to 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian (Guardians are assigned by the court system in each state and the age of the guardian can vary by state). This signifies that the rating board has concluded that the film rated may contain some adult material. Parents are urged to learn more about the film before taking their children to see it. An R may be assigned due to, among other things, a film’s use of language, theme, violence, sex or its portrayal of drug use. Children 10 and under are not allowed to attend Rated R features.
Is the admission pricing different for a 3D film vs. 2D?
Yes, all 3D movies are subject to a $3.00 surcharge. For example, an evening admission for a 2D movie is $7.99 and $10.99 for 3D.
Why does Chunky’s not accept complimentary admissions for certain films?
Our contracts with our film distributors require that we do not accept complimentary admissions during the first two weeks of film release. However, we do accept all prepaid admissions and gift cards for any movie, any time.
Will my prepaid/complimentary admission and gift card be accepted at Manchester Chunky’s?
Yes, prepaid admission passes, complimentary admission passes, gift cards and other approved Chunky’s coupons are valid at Chunky’s Manchester. However, please be sure to review the restrictions described on your item(s) as those rules still apply. Expiration dates for example.
Are there different admission price levels based on age?
Chunky’s standard admission pricing applies to all ages. Our contracts with the movie companies require us to charge admission for each seat.
When are matinee admission ticket prices in effect?
All showtimes before 5PM are considered to be matinee – this includes breakfast showtimes.
When do doors open for seating?
- Matinee Evening Showtimes (showtimes between 10:31am – 8:59pm) doors open 1 hour before showtime.
- Late Showtimes (showtimes after 9:00pm) doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
At Chunky’s we recommend arriving close to doors open time. This will also ensure you are here early enough to enjoy conversation with your party, drinks dinner while the lights are still up in the theater! This becomes even more important to consider when coming to see a popular new release or special event.

Are Chunky’s theaters fully accessible?
Yes, all of our theaters are fully accessible – every theater has wheelchair ramp for easy access. Chunky’s chairs are on wheels and can be moved to accommodate space for a wheelchair.
For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, we currently offer closed captioning devices at all locations. These devices utilize both a headset and a small, handheld screen which allows you to read closed captioning as the film plays.
As of May 2017, Nashua and Pelham have sound-amplifying headphones available. At this time, we do not have the closed captioning devices available but we will be adding the devices at these locations soon. When are your showtimes for the weekend posted?
We book films on Monday and Tuesday for the following Friday through Thursday. Once the bookings are completed, we prepare our schedule and post it on our website by 5PM on Tuesday evenings. For example, if you are looking at our schedule on Monday, you will only be able to see showtimes listed through Thursday. By Tuesday evening, you will be able to see the schedule for the weekend.

What is Chunky’s all about anyway?
Chunky’s is the ONLY way to see a movie and here is how it works:
After purchasing your tickets (sold online or at location), come have a seat in one of our spacious, comfortable, and UNIQUE theaters. Your seat is a leather, reclining car chair from a Lincoln Town Car, so get prepared to be VERY relaxed!
Once you have chosen your seat, take a peek at our diverse movie-themed menu! We like to brag about our fresh-never frozen, Black Angus Beef Burgers and our select Chicken Love Me Tenders! In fact, everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. Here you’ll find mouth-watering appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts!
You can order before the show starts, and if you’re in the mood for dessert or an extra drink halfway through the movie, no problem! Chunky’s was designed for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

Which seats are wheelchair accessible?
All seats at Chunky’s in all theaters are wheelchair accessible.
Can I change my seats after I’ve purchased?
Yes, you can change your seats only if the seats are you looking to swap are still available. You will need to contact the location’s box office to make this adjustment. This cannot be changed without Chunky’s staff assistance. Please note, this request may not be successfully completed within 24 hours of your selected movie showtime.
When should we arrive to the theater for our showtime?

Can I select seats for live comedy and other special events?
Yes. For live comedy events, the room layout remains the same. Therefore, the seating chart will be unchanged. For events such as dueling pianos where the players are stations at the center of the auditorium, you will see a custom seating chart.
